As the only player to ever win the International Hockey Federation's (FIH) World Player of the Year Award four times ('01, '04-'05, '07), she may even be the best field hockey player ever.
An attacker, she provides most of the offense for an Argentine team that finished with bronze and silver medals in the last two Olympic Games, drawing comparisons to countryman and soccer legend Diego Maradona. Except, you know, she doesn't struggle with obesity or do mountains of cocaine.

I agree with you on your selections. Just about all that you posted could easily be professional models, hands down. I know that you can't post all olympians, but i'm surprised you omitted some very beautiful american track and field athletes. For example: Sanya Richards, Lolo Jones,Diana Pickler, and Kara Goucher to name a few.
